Nothern Jersey who play an inspiring blend of
Blues, Punk and Garage with a touch of Psychedelic.
The band has been playing shows and building a reputation as a must see live act.
Though the band will almost immediately draw comparisons to The White Strips. Black Keys and other similar acts their sound, approach and originality allow them to not only stand out and stand apart. It makes them thrive.
On this double 7 inch we're treated to seven songs that instantly wrap around you and refuse to let go. What makes these tunes so special is how Melissa's incredibly soulful and bluesy voice overwhelms you with it's almost haunting emotional power. Though the band is often noted for its punk influences and alliances. It's the bluesy feel of the record that really allows it to soar. When trying to pin down my favorite track I was left empty. Each song is so good it deserves its own trophy room. One can only hope to hear and see more of this duo. They also put on one hell of a show.
